Inspire Me Thursday Challenge: Abstract
This abstract painting began as an almost-discarded piece of watercolor paper on which I'd done some color swatches when I was working on another piece. I recycled it into the basis for this challenege.

I like how the background color keeps the other colors from being too bold. Would look nice in a modern decorated room.
Great job. I feel like the eyes are watching me!
I actually love the serendipitous designs that happen on paper used for sampling colors or trying different washes and so on. I like how you recycled your paper into a new piece of art...it's like found art, and it's wonderful!
This is a great finished design, the colours work really well together. well done!
i like the simplicity of this piece as well as the shapes. i am always drawn to squares and these have the softest corners. beautiful!
this is sooo wonderful... and I love that it started out as a swatch!
...and thanks for participating at Inspire Me Thursday :)
Lily this is gorgeous. And so cool that is was just a swatch for another piece. Fabulous!
Beautiful. It's something I would love to hang on my wall.
