Inspire Me Thursday Challenge: Abstract

This abstract painting began as an almost-discarded piece of watercolor paper on which I'd done some color swatches when I was working on another piece. I recycled it into the basis for this challenege.

I like how the background color keeps the other colors from being too bold. Would look nice in a modern decorated room.

I actually love the serendipitous designs that happen on paper used for sampling colors or trying different washes and so on. I like how you recycled your paper into a new piece of art...it's like found art, and it's wonderful!

i like the simplicity of this piece as well as the shapes. i am always drawn to squares and these have the softest corners. beautiful!
